304 Stainless Steel Introduction:
304 stainless steel is the most common stainless steel type used in various industries, it has enough excellent corrosion resistance value for normal application need. The most common form of 304 stainless steel is 18-8, stainless steel, which contains 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel.
304 stainless steel can withstand corrosion from most oxidizing acids. This feature makes 304 easy to sanitize, and it's perfect for kitchen and food applications and other applications as buildings, decoration, and site furnishings.
304 stainless steel has one disadvantages: it is susceptible to corrosion from chloride solutions higher than 25 ppm, the corrosion location is named pitting, it will spread beneath protective chromium layer, or from saline environments like the coast. Chloride ions can create localized areas of corrosion, called "pitting,"
